We designed this nightstand to be a perfect companion to our Platform Bed No. 1. Like our beds, this modern wood nightstand features graceful tangent curves which create a continuous line from leg to side. Its hardwood construction should make you smile every time you pull open its little drawer and see the contrasting wood of half-blind dovetails.

The nightstands in the photographs are walnut, but we can build these in maple, mahogany, cherry, beech, ash, or oak as well.
We can paint these to match our painted beds as well. If you would like to do this, choose maple for the wood species and put a note in your order. We’ll confirm with you to be sure we have it right.

On our furniture pieces, we use 2 different eco-friendly finishes, depending on wood species. On darker woods that benefit from a slightly amber tone we use Rubio Monocoat, a Zero-VOC Oil-Wax Finish. On lighter color woods where a non-yellowing finish is preferable, we use a Osmo Oil, a Low-VOC Oil finish.
